Conntrak Catering Services would like to confirm the recent acquisition of Compass Group Services Thailand operations.
The acquisition was a strategic growth decision that increases the Conntrak Catering offshore geographic footprint, offering existing and future prospective clients offshore catering support to the Thailand and greater Far East markets. Conntrak Catering Services officially acquired Compass Group Thailand on May 1st 2019, the purchase comprises of a head office in Bangkok along with logistics support bases in both the North and South of Thailand, transitioning some 130 team members and multiple existing offshore contracts. The merged business will be operated under the Conntrak Catering Services Thailand banner in the coming months.
Conntrak Catering, founded in 2017, provides offshore catering and cleaning services across the Middle East, Africa and the North Sea. In conjunction with a work stream already established in Taiwan, Japan and Singapore, the purchase of the current Compass Group Thailand portfolio collectively allows the greater Conntrak business to further support a number of existing clients already operating in the Far East. In addition, the acquisition brings a focused competitor to the Thailand and greater Far East offshore catering markets.
