A Passion for Health, Safety, & Compliance

Conntrak Catering is a dynamic and energetic catering company dedicated to delivering exceptional service to our customers and clients, while prioritizing safety and cultivating a pleasant working environment. We firmly believe that our unwavering commitment to safety and quality are the key factors driving our remarkable growth.

Our primary objective is to establish ourselves as a renowned market leader in catering, cleaning, and housekeeping services for offshore operations across the GCC region and major oil and gas hubs worldwide. Our guiding principles revolve around treating our employees, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients with utmost respect and integrity, continuously improving our service delivery, and identifying and seizing service opportunities with existing and new clients to ensure sustained expansion.

We achieve our objectives by consistently identifying and meeting the needs of our customers and other important stakeholders. The cornerstone of our success lies in our recent accreditation of the Integrated Management System by DNV. This integration combines our ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, and ISO 22000-2018 certifications into one comprehensive Management System, endorsed by one of the most reputable certifying bodies in the offshore industry.

Our safety culture, known as SAFETRAK, is deeply ingrained within our business as a behaviour-based system. All employees undergo rigorous safety induction and SAFETRAK training. Our management fully supports our team in adhering to well-defined Standard Operating Procedures that minimize risks to our employees, clients, and customers during offshore operations.

We are dedicated to upholding and continuously improving this system by allocating adequate resources to ensure that quality remains at the core of our business. Our management regularly reviews our policies to maintain their effectiveness and drive further enhancements.

While the worldwide ratification of the Maritime Labour Convention established in 2006 is still pending, Conntrak has made the proactive decision to comply with this convention in all our operations. We have engaged Lloyd's Register to conduct external audits and verify our MLC 2006 compliance. We initially obtained certification in 2017, and annual verification is performed to ensure ongoing compliance.

In 2017, Conntrak decided to join the International Marine Purchasing Association (IMPA), the leading association for marine purchasing and supply professionals globally. We made this choice because we believe that the values of both organizations align, encompassing competence, respect, entrepreneurship, accountability, team spirit, and enthusiasm. Our aim in this partnership is to further develop and uphold industry standards, ultimately delivering value to our clients.

As we expand our operations in the North Sea, we recognize the expectation of FPAL registration and verification. Consequently, we successfully completed our FPAL Achilles registration in 2018. Recognizing the benefits of being FPAL registered as a means to demonstrate our capabilities in the North Sea, we underwent verification in early 2019.

Our Commitment to Human Rights

Conntrak Catering Services is committed to respecting, promoting, and advancing human rights across every region and operation in which we work. We recognise the dignity, equality, and fundamental freedoms of all people, and we conduct our business in line with internationally recognised human rights principles, including those reflected in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the International Labour Organization's Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work, the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, and the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact.

In keeping with these principles, we are committed to:

  • upholding freedom of association and the effective recognition of the right to collective bargaining;
  • the elimination of all forms of forced, compulsory, and slave labour;
  • the effective abolition of child labour;
  • the elimination of discrimination in respect of employment and occupation;
  • the active promotion of diversity, inclusion, and equal opportunity; and
  • the provision of a safe and healthy working environment for all of our people.

We further commit to raising awareness of these rights among our employees, contractors, and suppliers, and to advocating for their protection throughout our operations and supply chain.

Human Rights in Our Supply Chain

Conntrak incorporates human rights provisions into its supplier and subcontractor agreements. These provisions include commitments to prevent child labour and forced or slave labour, to promote diversity and inclusion, and to prohibit moral and sexual harassment and all forms of discrimination. Through them we seek to ensure that our suppliers and business partners uphold the same standards of ethical conduct and respect for human rights to which Conntrak holds itself.
